  SENIOR SIGNING DAY

   APRIL 28, 2009

  One of YES Prep’s most beloved traditions, every year YES Prep seniors publicly   

  announce their college choice to an audience of YES Prep students, families, friends,

  teachers, media and supporters at Senior Signing Day. For the ninth year in a row,  

  100% of YES Prep seniors signed letters of commitment to the colleges and  

  universities of their choice.

 

4TH ANNUAL YES TEXAS HOLD 'EM OIL & GAS TOURNAMENT

FEBRUARY 12, 2009

Catering to Houston’s trademark industry, the poker tournament is our largest and most successful fundraiser every year. Thanks to our incredible scholarship sponsors: Alta Resources, Kiwi Energy, Vitol S.A., Inc., and all participants, we raised a record $547,000 to support our expansion in Houston and prepare more students for college graduation. 10TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

NOVEMBER 11, 2008

The 2008-2009 school year marked YES Prep’s decade milestone and we celebrated it in style at the Planet warehouse in downtown Houston. Over 350 long-time supporters and new friends joined us for an evening to celebrate YES Prep’s impact in Houston and to hear YES Prep students and Marathon Oil CEO, Clarence Cazalot, share our vision for Houston’s future.
