 YES Prep Southeast Class of 2008 graduate and current Harvard senior, Keara Cormier-Hill, shares how a summer internship set her on a course for a career in non-profits.

When I began college in the fall of 2008, I hoped to pursue a career in journalism or communications after graduation.  However, by the end of my junior year, I realized I had different goals for my immediate future. Alumni Spotlight: Jose Jimenez, YES Prep Southeast Class of 2007

Playing Frisbee during lunch is by far my favorite. There was a crew of us who would scarf our food down as fast as possible to make enough time to play Frisbee for the rest of the break. We always played in the school parking lot because it had the most space.
