YES Prep Southeast Wizards Compete in the District 25 2A State Basketball Playoffs Tonight

We place tremendous value on being a family-oriented school, and on Friday 2/25 the YES Prep Southeast Wizard family needs your support. Our boys basketball team plays in the 2nd round of the state playoffs tomorrow night as a result of winning the 2A District 25 championship this year. The Wizards (19-6, 14-1 in district) take on Hempstead (26-7) at Foster HS in Richmond at 7:00 PM. I know it is quite a commitment to drive 45 miles out of the city on a Friday night, but our boys have been playing in front of hostile crowds on the road all year, and tomorrow there will definitely be a strong showing by the city of Hempstead. While we don’t have a geographical community to pull from, this game is a great opportunity to show the strength of the YES Prep community.

More than anything, these young men deserve to hear the cheers of hundreds of fans supporting them. They have been wonderful representatives of YES Prep all year and while none of them will be playing basketball in college, they have earned college acceptance to schools such as Creighton, DePaul, UT, and Xavier and will continue to make YES Prep proud in the future. Please help us make tomorrow night a memorable one...and a victorious one!
