Senior Feature: YES Prep Southwest’s Raven Rathers

This year, YES Prep Southwest will graduate its first class of seniors and 100% of them will be accepted into a four-year college or university.  We are excited to celebrate the success of this inagural class of seniors by featuring them each week on our blog.  The success of our students is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teachers who do whatever it takes to ensure more students like Raven have a chance at a great education. 

Hi! My name is Raven Rathers. I am a 12th grader and I have been at YES Prep Southwest since my 7th grade year. I have struggled throughout my time at YES Prep but I refuse to give up. I am hardworking and very focused. Last year, I was having a hard time deciding whether or not I would stay at YES Prep for my senior year and when all of my teachers found out, they all pulled together to help me make the right decision. This was my first big life decision and my YES Prep family was right there to guide me to realize that YES Prep is still the place for me. No matter what happens in my life I know that I will always have my YES Prep family by my side. I Love Yes Prep, through the good and bad, and I know that YES Prep Southwest is the school for me. I appreciate everything that they have done for me and I wouldn't be where I am now without them.
