For the past decade, 100% of YES Prep's graduating seniors have been accepted to top colleges and universities across the country. We have proven that students from all of Houston's neighborhoods can be successful when given access to great teachers. However, this was a special year for YES Prep North Central because they graduated their first class of seniors, all of whom have been accepted to college.
Founded in 2003 in a warehouse on Hardy street just north of downtown, the YES Prep North Central Trailblazers have really led the effort in rethinking the status quo for what is possible in public education and what "those kids" from "that neighborhood" could accomplish. After seven years of wall street, hurricanes, Mr. DiBella, and lots of homework, the dedication and hard work of those 43 seniors has paid off.
We are excited to celebrate their accomplishments and would love to hear your comments as well. Below you will find a quick summary of where our seniors will be attending college in the fall. Please let them know how proud you are!
